I<\/span>nspired by the Best Exotic Marigold Hotel movies and the BBC documentaries that followed them, Angel Holidays has created its own Exotic Marigold tour where volunteers can travel to India to see what retirement would bring. The trip will operate much like the BBC series. In fact, it has been developed with the help of the BBC production team.<\/p>\n

You will stay in Jaipur, the same city as Miriam Margolyes, Wayne Sleep, Jan Leaming, Bobby George and others used for the series, in a classic, historic palace hotel, in-keeping with the Exotic Marigold theme.\u00a0 You\u2019ll also spend a night in Agra to visit the Taj Mahal and you’ll witness Holi: the wonderful festival of colour and light.<\/p>\n

After Jaipur, we’ve added a classic train journey across the desert to the romantic lake city of Udaipur, where you’ll spend an additional 3 magical nights.\u00a0 We’ll also take you to visit the Exotic Marigold Hotel used for the movies with Judy Dench etc.\u00a0 If you would like to see more of Rajasthan, there is also an exciting optional tour of Rajasthan at the end.
