What to bring
You’ll be experiencing a change in climate from the hot (and a little humid) jungle to the warm and pleasant Pokhara and Kathmandu. There are relatively cheap laundry services along the journey and you might find packing lighter is more convenient, especially when entering old cities (where bus access to the centre is not available). Bring practical shoes or sandals as there will be some walking on this tour. There are no formal evenings, at the welcome and farewell dinners you need only smart/casual wear. You may wish to pack a swimming costume to bathe with elephants, or there is a pool in Chitwan (but it is not always open).
You can also purchase quite cheaply anything from fleece jackets, to tee shirts and shorts very cheaply as well as many unique souvenirs . So leave plenty of space in your baggage.
