‘ve put together a thrilling journey; one that covers all facets of Nepal. Our tours of Kathmandu, Patan and magical Bhaktapur will give you first hand experience of how this Kingdom has remained locked away from the world, and only made accessible since the 1950’s. Sometimes you’ll feel like you’re stepping back in time.
We’ll take you to the exotic jungle where you’ll stay near Chitwan National Reserve. Here we’ll take you on safari by elephant to spot rhino and possibly tigers (if you prefer you can visit the reserve by jeep).
No visit to Nepal would be complete without experiencing the Himalaya. You’ll have the optional chance to fly around Mt Everest and the mountains on this tour, we’ll also visit Pokhara; a beautiful town alongside Nepal’s second largest lake and surrounded by the Himalaya. Free time in this beautiful setting is followed by our journey back to Kathmandu.

Day One, 15th Nov, 2027 (Monday)
Your flight from the UK is, in most cases, overnight arriving next day. You may want to fly out a day or two early (for example leave the UK Friday or Saturday). We pick you up free from the airport – up to three days before the tour starts. Please contact us for hotel prices for extra nights. Kathmandu which has an abundance of things to do and we can show you how.
Day 2, 16th Nov (Tuesday)
After your flight we meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel for a comfortable two night stay. Remember, if you want to come out a day or more early to enjoy more of Kathmandu – please do! In the evening there is a special welcome dinner. HB
Day 3, 17th Nov (Wednesday)
We begin our tour of old Kathmandu with a visit to the iconic Swayambhunath, perched on the top of a hill overlooking Kathmandu Valley with its shrines and temples. We continue to the heart of the old city with its pagoda temples and busy thoroughfare of markets and colourfully dressed people. We end the day with a visit to the stunning Unesco city of Patan. Evening free to wander into the bustling night markets of Thamel or relax in the hotel. B&B
Day 4, 18th Nov (Thursday)
Early morning optional flight over the Himalaya for views of Mt. Everest. We visit Boudhanath to see how Tibetan culture continues to thrive in Nepal. Note, on some tours we may also stay in Boudhanath for the final night. After this we continue to magical Bhaktapur with its traditional squares, architecture and ways of life that haven’t changed for hundreds of years. Angel Holidays will arrange special permits to stay in this UNESCO city. On arrival; a walking tour of the city. Here we’ll stay for two unusual nights in traditional guest houses. B&B
Day 5, 19th Nov (Friday)
Time to explore this fascinating city. Bhaktapur is so unique that it was used for the Hollywood movie ‘Little Buddha.’ Old pagoda temples, cobbled stone streets and a traditional culture makes our stay here unique. In the morning there is an optional (and free) walk around the city with local young people to see how they live, how they work and how they play; and explore some hidden alleyways. B&B
Day 6, 20th Nov (Saturday)
Drive to Chitwan National Reserve and the exotic jungle where we stay near the reserve. Over the next two days jungle activities begin: Elephant riding safaris to spot rhino and possibly tigers (you can go by jeep if you prefer), jungle walks, bird watching, floating down a jungle river in dug-out canoes in search of crocodiles, as well as a visit to a local village are all included. Day 7, 21st Nov (Sunday)
Breakfast, lunch, dinner included. Activities as above continue. Or just relax and enjoy the peaceful surrounds of being near the jungle. Perhaps this evening, walk to the nearby jungle river with friends to enjoy sunset with a cocktail. FB
Day 8, 22nd Nov (Monday)
Today we drive to the lovely Pokhara, alongside Nepal’s second largest lake with, on clear days, full views of the Himalaya. Over the next two days you will have free time to explore this beautiful town in its dramatic setting. B&B
Day 9, 23rd Nov (Tuesday)
There are a multitude of things to do in Pokhara. Perhaps try boating, cycling or other activities along the lake, sample some of the many open air restaurants along it shores, visit its Gurkha or mountaineering museum or enjoy some of its many (and low cost) Himalayan beauty and spa treatments. There are adventure sports too, such as paragliding, white-water rafting and the longest ‘zip-wire’ in the world. Please note if you participate in such adventure sports with local agencies you do so at your own risk. B&B
Day 10, 24th Nov (Wednesday)
Continued free time in Pokhara. B&B
Day 11, 25th Nov (Thursday)
Morning departure for our drive back into Kathmandu. Rest of the day free. In the evening there will be a special (included) farewell dinner in a classic setting. HB
Day 12, 26th Nov (Friday)
After breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight home. If you’d like to stay on a little longer in Nepal, please let us know. B&B
